Paul Jackson - Owner/Instructor
Paul Jackson grew up in Oldham County where he was an Allstate baseball and basketball player. He was a 4th round draft pick of the Cincinnati Reds and led the Oldham County High School Basketball team to the State Tournament in 1989. Paul then accepted a baseball scholarship to Western Kentucky University where he broke many hitting records and was named All-South, All-American honorable mention in 1992. Paul was also able to walk on the 1993 Hilltopper basketball and tennis teams.
Paul played in the prestigious Cape Cod baseball league in 1990, 91. He signed his first pro contract in 1993 with the Duluth Dukes of the Northern League and played for the Minneapolis Loons of the Prairie League in 1994 and 1995. Paul also signed a professional contract with the Minnesota Twins in 1994.
Paul retired from baseball in 1995 and finished a master's degree in Sport Marketing from the University of Louisville. He began a career in golf as the Head Golf Pro at Connemara Golf Links in Nicholasville, Ky in 1996 and later became the Membership Director/Golf pro at the Polo Fields Golf and CC in Louisville, Ky.
Paul currently is a pharmaceutical sales representative for Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America where he focuses on diabetes treatment. His motivation for JSP is the prevention of childhood obesity, and having kids reach their athletic potential to succeed in sports and in the game of life.
